The serrated edge can cut through everything (but fingers!)

No, they are not paying me to say this (although I wouldn’t complain if they did! Goodness knows I talk about them enough…) But they did send me some free knives to use, since I use them in almost all of my cooking classes for kids.

We have one of these knives for our four-year-old daughter, and we love it! She did cut herself once, but it wasn’t bad, and it actually gave us the chance to really teach her about knife safety and how to cut food. We also got her the lemon-shaped cutting board, which we all love. It’s bordered in some non-slip coating, so the cutting board stays still, even when she’s wiggly. 🙂

  2. Those would be perfect for my {almost} 6 year old! I let the bigger kids use paring knives to help in the kitchen, but I haven’t let him cut anything yet because he makes me nervous. Ha. Happy you shared your love for them! 🙂

  3. These are really great! I never knew these actually existed!

Thank you so much for introducing me to these knives. I love to cook with my boys 2 and 3.5. Everytime we are cutting things I usually give them a butter knife, which doesn’t really work. I just ordered these from your amazon store, and cannot wait to try them! Thanks!

I have been using them in my elementary school cooking classes. They are great, and really reduce a lot of the anxiety of the kids cutting.

  6. We have these knives and they are great!
