International Association of Culinary Professionals

For two years, I was the co-chair of the Kids in the Kitchen section of the IACP, a professional organization dedicated to connecting culinary professionals to the resources they need to be successful.  At our annual conference each year, we devoted an event to educating children and adults in the host city about healthy eating and helping the less fortunate.

At our annual conference in Portland in 2010, we cooked for the homeless with local 4H children.

At our annual conference in Austin in 2011, we had a fantastic garden to table workshop with students from the UT Elementary School and special guest, Bill Yosses, White House Pastry Chef.
