Drop In and Decorate

During the week of Thanksgiving, I hosted a Drop In and Decorate cookie decorating party.  My house was filled with compassionate children and their parents.  We decorated cookies and donated them to Homeward Bound of Marin, who delivered them to needy families on Thanksgiving day.

I was so excited about the kids and their amazing work that I wrote about it right away.  But what I couldn’t tell you during my first post was that Allrecipes.com joined us to film the festivities as part of their Cookies Across America campaign for the holidays!  My sequel post includes the video, along with more adorable photos – I hope it inspires your family to help the less fortunate!

Many thanks to Williams-Sonoma for their generous care package of cookie decorating supplies.
