Join us for a culinary adventure that will take your taste buds on a journey around the world. Our campers will make home-made meals from Africa all the way to Asia. Our chefs-in-training will learn how to help their families prepare healthy meals and will practice their culinary skills with a variety of age appropriate cooking tools.
Our week will include a field trip to the Civic Center farmer’s market, where children will go on a scavenger hunt, meet growers and learn the advantages of eating a locally grown seasonal diet. Students will also experience the pride generated from making a meal and donating it to an organization that helps the less fortunate. Our grand finale will include a friendly Iron Chef competition, complete with guest judges.
