What’s Cooking offers Cooking Classes and Birthday Parties for children of all ages in the San Francisco Bay Area. My teachers and I get kids and their families excited about using healthy & seasonal ingredients and about sharing meals together . The majority of our classes take place in schools, recreation centers and in the homes of our clients.
I also frequently do speaking engagements for parent organizations and schools, to address parent concerns about picky eaters and planning healthy family meals.
If you are interested in our birthday parties but don’t live in our geographical area, I would be happy to do a Phone Consultation with you. I’ll walk you through the steps of how to make your birthday party a success – from menu planning and set up to cooking tips for kids. I can even mail you birthday invitations and cooking related party favors! Please use the contact page to reach me for pricing and scheduling.

Michelle – I couldn’t let the sun set without thanking you for our amazing birthday party today. The girls loved every minute of it and enjoyed eating the food that they made, themselves. You are truly an inspiration! I can’t wait to tell my friends about your work, and hope they all call you. – Polly S. The knowledge and enthusiasm you shared made the festival an event where people were not only educated, but also inspired. I was thrilled to see that your workshop was so well attended. There were lots of wheels turning inside of people’s heads and even more smiles on their faces. – Andrew Brait, Full Belly Farm |

I live in Massachusetts and I noticed one of your franchises in East Longmeadow, MA. Is this location part of your company? I didn’t notice any locations other than California on your website.
Hi Michael,
We don’t have franchises, at this time. So far, we have a team of independent contractors who work with us to do some of our classes, camps and birthday parties. We would consider having contractors outside of California (we have gotten lots of requests for our classes all over the country), but we haven’t met any teachers who feel “just right” for our program.
I’ll have to check out the one in MA… Looks like it is time for me to get that Trademark, huh? Thank you so much for letting me know!
I hope that people who read my posts about Cooking With Kids and Family Mealtimes on Boston Mama’s know that the new business in your area is not connected with mine. I have worked really hard on developing a reputable program and would hate for people to become confused, simply because she is using a name similar to mine.
