A $75 nonrefundable deposit is required to reserve your reservation for Birthday Parties, Teen Classes, In-Home Group Classes and Private Lessons.   If you cancel your reservation, your deposit will not be returned.  If you would like to reschedule your class, you will need to make an additional $75 deposit.  Deposits will be applied to the total cost of each class.

If your instructor becomes ill before your special event, we will make every possible effort to find another instructor.  If, however, we are unable to staff your event, your deposit will be refunded or we can schedule your event for another date.

Participation in a What’s Cooking class may involve student use of cooking equipment and tools in a busy kitchen environment. It is understood and expressly agreed to by the Parent (or student) that by making payment for (including the redemption of a gift certificate or volunteering) and/or by participating in the class, the Parent / Student releases, indemnifies and hold harmless Michelle Stern, What’s Cooking and contractors, from any and all liability of any kind for any damages and/ or injuries incurred in connection with the students attendance at a What’s Cooking class and understands and accepts the risks inherent in the preparation, cooking and eating of food with other people in the kitchen.
