		<description>i haven&#039;t tried pre-cooking mine the night before, but I cook steel-cut oatmeal in 15 minutes by putting grinding them in the coffee mill before cooking. It makes the grains smaller, thus they cook faster.  when i don&#039;t snooze too long in bed, i can even have them ready on a school morning.</description>
